Iranian-American Moms (I AM) is a dedicated group of mothers collaborating with the Bill Wilson Center (BWC) to nurture and support foster youth in our community. Our goal is to bridge cultures and resources, creating a profound and lasting impact on the lives of young individuals who need it most.
Our mission is to support foster youth by establishing a year-round support system. We focus on enhancing various services like summer programs, educational advancement, and holiday events.
Added crucial elements to our curriculum, including art, music, and nutrition.
Enhanced the College Engaged Summer Program by doubling the enrollments from four to eight weeks and extending the active days from three to four days. This program now serves over 60 youths annually.
The I AM team has assisted over 200 families with holiday events, including gift packages, gift cards and holiday meals.
